Posted on July 25, 2008, 2:34 amI had my navel pierced 4 times and all 4 times, the piercing would settle and the bar would be turned to face one particular way. I always thought it was normal?

Sometimes your body just
Posted on July 25, 2008, 8:05 amSometimes your body just wants to make it go a certain way. Navels can be tricky--they get a lot of pressure from clothes, etc., as well as twisting from the body itself--and it may be better to just let it sit where it wants to.
If you're wearing a barbell, you might want to try a ring when it's healed--a ring won't make it look so crooked.

Posted on July 27, 2008, 7:08 amI had a ring for about a year after I had my navel pierced. It CONSTANTLY sat with the ball facing to the left and the ring never sat up straight. I went to a barbell and it was much better. I just lost about 10 pounds and now the barbell sits facing the right. I probably have to have it cut again. (My piercer makes his own jewelry and cuts it to custom fit). I agree with cloud, just let is sit where it wants. Don't monkey with it, you could cause more problems. Just enjoy it.
