Just a couple of hours ago I went and got [finally] after serval weeks of saving up my industrial through the top not through my whole ear. I'd be thinking about this kind of piercing for along time. My bf wasn't too keen on the idea but I managed to push him into it. SO today I thought it! I'm going to get it done since my last piercing, my invert navel I had done since july, I needed a change.
SOOO. I arrived at Moniques tattoo studio in West Auckland, New Zealand. Signed the forms, payed the money [$110; it was a bit much, but oh well] and nervously waited. Like most people do lol. He told me that they had to do two piercings and let it heal with rings before putting in the bar as otherwise my ear would deform and look something like a elves ear at christmas. I was a tad dissapointed that my bar wouldnt go in till after 3 weeks of healing. So I sat down, he marked my ear up, then put the clamps on, which everyone says hurts like hell, Which they didnt at all. Fiddled around for awhile then next all I heard was this crushing noise as the needle went through my helix. I had actually missed him piercing the first hole, it was that fast and painless.
Piercing the helix through was I had to admit, very painful. But not as bad as when he tryed putting the bar through. That hurt alot. I looked at it. It was AWESOME. By now the nerves had almost gone so I was relatively calm. Untill the bar had to go out again....Painful.

All In All: It was SOO worth it. Can;t wait for my bar to go in through! Yay.
