Less painful for some and not for others. My VCH hurt BAD! Seriously very painful, but on the other side only for a few seconds. Others Ihave talked to say they hardly felt it. Pain is so different for everyone.

I have my VCH and I love it. Very pretty and just a great piercing. It does not add much more stimulation for me, but really depending on how it is played with it can add a bit more. During sex in does nothing at all for me. The main reason I got mine was because it is such a pretty piercing.

I got a HCH simply because I thought it was prettier. I have a 10g polished CBR in there with a light blue gem and it's pretty and feminine in a way I rarely am openly! I thought about the VCH, but I wasn't bothered about more stimulation, and wasn't sure how much it would give me anyway. My piercer said that it's anatomically easier to do an HCH, but most woman can get either.

The HCH doesn't add more during sex, except I'm more confident and it gives the bf something to actually play with!

I got the HCH for looks. I wear a 12g circular barbell in it. VCH is claimed to be more stimulating, but as I have said many times in the past - A piercings will NOT compensate for the shortcomings of a poor lover. No bigger turn on than being able to hit your partners hot spots.

As for convincing her.....why? Why can't YOU get a PA? I am not jumping on you but it does bother me when people talk about convincing other people to get pierced. If you wouldn't pierce yours then don't expect someone to pierce theirs. Plus piercings can be very intimate and personal so pushing it on someone isn't fair either because it is their body.

BK: he has a PA. But you're right, "convincing" or coercing someone else to get a piercing is not cool. If she wants it, fine, but remember it's her body, not your toy.

I have a large gauge HCH. The bead of the ball provides stimulation. She may want to consider how she's built, and consult with a good piercer. She should communicate whether she is more interested in looks or stimulation, and a decision as to appropriate jewelry and placement should be made between them.

She has made her thought quite clear that she'd go for one if she could get her head round the pain thing!!! She loves the look of them but is scared about the pain! I simply wanted to hear other women's experiences without getting my head bitten off!!! Thanks for the info anyway.

Tell your gf not to worry about the pain if she has a GOOD, EXPERIENCED piercer. Hacks will fumble around and cause more pain. Very good piercers will be quick and deft, and cause minimal discomfort.

It's cool Cloud thanks for getting in touch again. The piercer I use who also does all my tattoos and has done hers is very good so I know that the pain shall be minimal. Which was the case when I got my PA.

I conned my wife into nipple piercings after I had mine done. When she was at a friends house, five hundred miles away she agreed to having them done. When she returned home I told her that she had an appointment to have them done. She spazzed and I told her that we would go over and she could talk to the lady who would do the piercing and if she wanted she could have them done. If she decided against it we would thank the lady for her time and go home. It was her call, but she came home decorated. When push came to shove it was her decision, and now she loves the look and does not regret having them done. Everyone should make their own decision about their body, and like her decide for yourself, not do what others want.

I agree and again I say that she wants it and is just scared of the pain. This thread was started to enquire as to which clitoral hood piercing she should go for IF she plucks up the courage to get it. Wanted advise and experiences as to which one might be best. Thanks for your concerns regarding coercing her.... that is not the case!

I liked the look of an HCH, but in the end I got a VCH. I it! Like the ladies above have said genital piercings are no substitute for a good lover!. Mine does make things more sensitive in the bedroom though. The pain for me was sharp, quick, and only hurt for 2 or 3 seconds; so I feel like it was more than worth it! My best girlfriend had an HCH and said it helped her as well. I think your girl should go with whichever she's suited for and aesthetically likes.

Thanks Pharmchick we have been recently chatting again and it looks like if she does go for it, it'll be the VCH. The position in relation to the section of skin appears to be best suited for that piercing. Have read some horror stories about PA's catching on women's intimate piercings, fingers crossed.....

Yeah, that's always been a niggling worry for me as well. I guess the main thing is to not mix bars and rings. Or of somethign should catch, keep calm and don't fight :s
